Franklinton Cycle Works empowers our community by expanding access to affordable and reliable bicycle transportation, maintenance, and safety education. Franklinton Cycle Works is a full service bike shop focusing on selling affordable refurbished bikes and all levels of bike repair. We also offer free bike stands, mechanical assistance and tons of cheap parts available for everyone so that they can safely keep their bikes on the road. We also run a variety of outreach programs supplying kids, teens and adults with free bikes, helmets, locks and lights.

Why They’re a Champion
Franklinton Cycle Works received new recycling containers in their bike repair area. Not only did they receive recycling containers to better collect recyclable materials in the space, but they also received larger containers to collect scrap metals that they recycle/reuse as well. The scrap metal containers help them collect more materials in the space and avoid overflowing scrap bins.
Additionally, in 2019, Franklinton Cycle Works was a Community Waste Reduction Grant recipient which was used to expand and improve their recycling program.
