This time of year, high school seniors all across our region are preparing to continue their education in college, and SWACO may be able to help pay for it if their plan includes a job in the solid waste management industry. As part of its vision of a sustainable future for our region, SWACO is pleased to offer an up-to $10,000 scholarship ($2,500 per year) to students pursuing an education in degrees such as Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Engineering, and other majors that are applicable to solid waste management. Applicants must reside in SWACO’s district or plan to attend a college or university that is within the district. Click here for more information and to apply today!
